Volunteer Opportunity: Scurry County Back to School Bash

Volunteer Registration – Back to School Bash 2025

The Back to School Bash is a community-wide event serving Scurry County families as they prepare for the new school year. Students and parents will have access to free school supplies, clothing, shoes, haircut vouchers, school registration support, immunization verification, and a wide variety of local and regional resources through our resource fair.

Volunteers are a vital part of making this event happen—before, during, and after! From setting up supplies to helping families navigate the event, your time and energy make a real difference.

Volunteer registration closes Friday, July 11. No late sign-ups will be accepted.

Volunteer Requirements:

 • All volunteers 18 and older must consent to a background check to help ensure a safe environment for the students we serve.

 • Volunteers under 18 must provide a reference from a pastor, youth pastor, or community non-profit leader (a phone call or text is perfect).

 • Volunteers under 14 are welcome but must have a parent volunteering alongside them at the event.
